We are very pleased to have Karen Young visit our school on Thursday, and lead an acting workshop on Saturday, Nov. 10 right here at CCES! Karen has recently enjoyed a recurring role on The Sopranos (Agent Robyn Sanseverino), many roles in Law & Order, and several feature films. For more info, you can check out her IMDB page. We will be participating with students from JL Mann. Below are the details on the workshop. I will be at school early in the week to sign people up and help choose material.

Saturday "Master Class" with Karen Young: High school drama students bring monologues or scenes to present for individual coaching and critique by a theatre and film professional. In the morning (Saturday, November 10, 9AM - Noon) scenes are presented to the entire class and Karen gives feedback. There is a midday break for lunch and individual rehearsals/polishing. Then, there is a final session (2-4 PM) where the revised scenes are presented for the class again...brief comments by Karen for each.
